Huo Jung-Ling Graphic Design Archive 霍榮齡平面設計檔案

Huo Jung-ling, born in 1948, graduated from the department of Arts and Crafts at the National Taiwan Academy of Arts (now National Taiwan University of Arts) in 1969. Throughout her forty-year career, Huo worked in various fields, including graphic design, art direction, branding, costume design, and fashion image design. After graduation, she joined the International Advertising Agency Ltd. before serving as the art director of Epoch Publishing from 1972 to 1978, overseeing the design direction of various magazine and publication titles such as Scooper Monthly, Junior Readers, The Woman, and Modern Management Monthly. In 1974, Huo began a long-term collaboration with the budding Cloud Gate Dance Theatre. These early projects set the foundation for her future work, which mostly related to the arts, culture, and publishing sectors.

Huo also embarked on a parallel career in costume and fashion image design, starting with the art direction of the launching issues of Ladies Magazine in 1979, leading to further ventures in the theatre and film industries. While she was not particularly active within the graphic design circle, apart from being part of the Taiwan Amoeba Design Association from 1979 to 1991, she did participate in its design exhibitions and international exchange programs.
