What a Pity. The Heartless Wind in the Spring可惜那無情的春風吹落了鮮花吹走了芬芳並帶着無限的感傷偷偷整理絲裙
2008
Dai Chenlian’s What a Pity. The Heartless Wind in the Spring was filmed using a fixed camera directed at a wooden stage, with a kettle producing lo-fi steam effects throughout. The artist falls to the ground while making anguished sounds; throws a paper aeroplane; tackles a structural pillar; and performs other seemingly random actions. The video is a work of raw improvisation, unfettered by narrative and context.
