M+ Summer Career Experience for University Students is a volunteer programme that offers practical work experience to undergraduate and postgraduate students, who are currently enrolled in a credit bearing internship course.

Under the supervision of designated staff members, participating students work closely with the departments to gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of different museum functions. Students are assigned to departments based on their academic background, skills, interests, and goals. Departments that are open for applications include Curatorial Affairs, Digital Content and Initiatives, Learning and Interpretation, Collection and Exhibition, and Museum Operations.

Participating students are expected to be available Monday through Friday on a full-time basis for at least six consecutive weeks during June to August. Please note that there is no allowance or stipend for this career experience programme.
