These prints are meditations on the complex and textured nature of time. The work epitomises Rirkrit Tiravanija’s unique view on time travel as a poetic journey where the past, present, and future are intertwined in a continuum of time and space, art and life, ideas and experiences. Etched onto the imprint is the mechanical dial of a clock. Through the medium of printmaking, Tiravanija opens the medium of print like a time portal, showing that works of art have the power to take us to different eras, places, and cultures.
