This triangular panel is a fragment of the Expo Tower for the 1970 World Exposition in Osaka. The event was an important platform for techno-futuristic visions for meeting the needs of emerging post-industrial societies. The tower was 127 metres in height, offering views of the Expo site through its circular windows. The design features seven geodesic cabins consisting of cast aluminium panels connected by ball joints attached to the central core, with a deck allowing visitors to walk between cabins.
