This series comprises approximately 662 items on martial art films mainly produced in Hong Kong between the 1950s and 1990s.

This series consists of posters, stills, synopses, and other ephemera, suggesting that this important genre were mainly influenced by martial art novels while original screenplays and the influence of foreign productions should not be underestimated. Some of the most classic movies in the series include Story of the Vulture Conqueror (1958) which is the first cinematic adaptation of literature by Jin Yong, Story of White-Haired Demon Girl (1959) adapted from one of the classic martial art novels by Liang Yu-sheng, and Burning of the Red Lotus Monastery (1963) starring famed actor Tso Tat Wah and actress Yu So Chow. This series is arranged chronologically, according to the dates of release in Hong Kong.
