Cocktail dress from Maxim's de Paris 1987 Spring/Summer collection 1987年春夏高訂系列酒會裙

After he acquired Maxim’s de Paris in 1981, Pierre Cardin established the Maxim’s de Paris line, named after the restaurant. This green-and-black cocktail dress with a leaf print and a ruffled skirt was selected by Song Huai-Kuei to promote the line. It was showcased on many occasions, including fashion shows held at Maxim’s in Beijing. Song also lent this dress to prominent Chinese journalist and media proprietor Yang Lan for a public appearance to promote Cardin’s designs, as shown in this photo.
