Song Huai-Kuei was photographed wearing this silk chiffon dress with paisley print at Maxim’s, Pierre Cardin’s restaurant in Beijing, in 1985. She paired it with a statement necklace, which accentuated the strapless design and contrasted with the delicate, semi-transparent layers of fabric that obscured her silhouette. Song complemented the look with an eye-catching blue stone ring, one of her favourite and most-worn accessories.
