Andrea Lissoni, PhD, is Artistic Director of Haus der Kunst München. His curatorial programme is based on transdisciplinary and transgenerational approaches in which all strands of artistic practices are deeply connected, which began in April 2022 with the sound and music residency series TUNE and a series of intertwined exhibitions by Fujiko Nakaya, Dumb Type, Carsten Nicolai, Christine Sun Kim, Tony Cokes, and Karrabing Film Collective. The series continued with Inside Other Spaces. Environments by Women Artists 1956—1976 (2023–2024), alongside shows by WangShui, Martino Gamper, and Meredith Monk and further developed with solo exhibitions by Pan Daijing, Liliane Lijn, Rebecca Horn, Pussy Riot, and Philippe Parreno.

Art historian and museologist Marina Pugliese is currently Head of Public Art and Director of MUDEC in Milan. She is the founding director of MUDEC. She founded the Museo del Novecento in 2010, and she was the Creative Director of the Future Humans Video Archive at the Berggruen Institute in Los Angeles from 2018 to 2019. Since 2016 she has taught in the Department of Visual Arts at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She co-curated the exhibition Lucio Fontana. Ambienti/Environments (2017–2018) at the HangarBicocca in Milan, which was, awarded Best Modern Art Solo Show at the Global Art Awards in New York in 2019.

Born in Osaka in 1972 and currently based in Berlin, artist Chiharu Shiota’s inspiration often emerges from personal experiences or emotions, which she expands into universal human concerns such as life, death, and relationships. Her work seeks to redefine the concept of memory and consciousness by collecting ordinary objects, such as shoes, keys, beds, chairs ,and dresses, engulfing them in monumental thread structures. Her work has been displayed at institutions worldwide, and she has also participated in numerous international exhibitions. In 2015, Shiota was selected to represent Japan at the 56th Venice Biennale. She was awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize in Japan for the second time in 2024, after receiving the prize as a new artist in 2008.

Currently based in Seoul, Kimsooja (b. 1957, South Korea) is a conceptual artist whose practice transcends distinctions of medium and form through works of painting, sewing, installation, performance, video, light, and sound. Her practice often engages with themes of the material and non-material, presence and absence, and migration and memory. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions in major international museums as well as site-specific installations, currently at Oude Kerk, Amsterdam (2025), and recently at Bourse de Commerce, Paris (2024). She has also been part of numerous biennials and triennials such as Documenta14 (2017), Venice Biennale (2013, 2007, 2005, 2001, 1999), and the Gwangju Biennale (2012, 2000, 1995), among others.

Pinaree Sanpitak (b. 1961, Thailand) is one of Asia’s most important contemporary artists. In the 1990s, her ground-breaking exhibition Breast Works (1994) marked the start of the artist’s reference to an emergent and defining iconography: the breast, which Sanpitak has become known for. Her sensorial inquiries reveal a keen sensitivity towards a range of materials, and she has produced an expansive and compelling body of work across diverse media and techniques including painting, collage, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, and performance.
