M+ Ticket holders are welcome to visit the exhibition Shanshui: Echoes and Signals and enjoy the live dance performance, M+ Live Art x HKDance: Echoing ‘Shanshui’, featuring Lee Ufan’s artwork Relatum–The Mirror Road, on the same day in the South Galleries.

Please see ‘Get Tickets’ for details. Please retain your ticket to facilitate your entry to the galleries.

Lee Ufan, one of the most prominent and admired artists from Asia working today, and M+ Artistic Director and Chief Curator Doryun Chong will be in conversation to discuss the artist’s profound and influential practice.

Lee Ufan’s sculptures are presented as connections between stones chosen from nature and industrial materials like glass or iron plate, while in his paintings, the painted and unpainted areas resonate with each other, causing even the space beyond the painting to vibrate. In this conversation, Lee will discuss his artistic philosophy, creative process, and cultural context of his works, especially his work Relatum–The Mirror Road, which is currently on view at the Shanshui: Echoes and Signals exhibition at the South Galleries, M+.

The conversation will be conducted in Korean, with simultaneous interpretation available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Click on ‘register’ to sign up for this free talk.
