M+ Keynote Lecture:
Building the Future of the Centre Pompidou with Laurent Le Bon, President of the Centre Pompidou

Centre Pompidou’s opening in Paris nearly 50 years ago constituted a far-reaching event. The visionary project to create a museum where art, design, moving image, music, and literature would be accessible to all under one roof was transformative for the city and an inspiration for the world.

In this presentation, Centre Pompidou President, Laurent Le Bon will trace the institution’s groundbreaking history and reveal his vision for its future programme in the soon-to-be refurbished building and beyond.

Following Le Bon’s talk, M+ Museum Director Suhanya Raffel will join him for an in-depth discussion about their respective institutions’ missions and planned collaborations. The lecture will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in Cantonese and Mandarin. Click on ‘Register’ to sign up.
