Young People Meet-Up:
Mapping Out a Museum Career 2026
This workshop is for secondary school graduates from the class of 2026, tertiary students, and recent graduates. Please bring valid ID.
‘Mapping Out a Museum Career’ invites those who are currently studying or about to enter the workforce to join us and learn about different career paths at M+ through regular discussions.
From exhibition planning to public programme coordination, various departments collaborate to maintain the daily operations of the museum. This year, we’ve invited professionals from three M+ departments—Collection and Exhibition, Curatorial, and Museum Operations—to share their professional experiences and personal reflections. This initiative aims to provide valuable insights into potential career paths in the museum industry, catering to those interested in pursuing careers in the cultural and arts field or preparing to apply for the M+ Internship.
The Young People Meet-Up series encourages young people to explore and exchange their perspectives of the everyday through regular workshops, conversations, and talks.
