Family Theatre—Kaka's Journey

One day, while lost in reverie, a little girl unravels a treasure map. Setting off from home, she follows a series of hints and journeys through the streets before arriving at M+. An ordinary trip turns into a whimsical adventure full of surprises and novelty. Life keeps proving that there’s always something to discover. Take a closer look around, stay curious, and let your imagination fly high! Hong Kong–based performing group Radiant Theatre inspires visitors and families to look within our daily lives for creativity and inspiration as we interact with others around us. What will you find at M+?

Sign Language Interpretation will not be available for this event. A script will be available for loan onsite for participants with specific needs. Family Theatre—Kaka's Journey is suitable for audiences ages three and above.

About the Artist

Radiant Theatre was established in 2009 and has been a venue partner of the Shatin Town Hall since 2011. We are dedicated to providing various theatre performances for families and children to facilitate learning and development. We believe the theatre is a playground where adults and children alike can find their own happiness

Two performers against a backdrop that appears to be covered with creased sheets of light brown paper. The performer in a checked shirt, yellow scarf, and beret on the viewer's left looks at their hands with surprise. The hands are slightly cupped with their sides pressed against each other, as if holding something. On the right, the smiling silver-haired performer in a checked overcoat bends towards the other performer's hands.
