A bare-chested dancer wearing blue tights, blue ballet shoes, and a white fluted collar hovers in mid-air on the viewer's left below a puffy cloud. One of the dancer's legs is straight and points to the top, while the other is bent. The painted backdrop depicts a light grey wall with a square window offering a view of a blue sky and white clouds. The dancer holds a paintbrush and appears to paint the sky.
