Wellbeing Workshop:
Meditate in Floating World

This event is for participants aged 16 and above. No prior related experience in mindfulness is required to participate.

Participants are recommended to wear comfortable clothing for the event. You may bring a towel or scarf to keep yourself warm.

The exhibition space is presented in dim lighting and includes fog and bubbles which may cause discomfort to some viewers.

The workshop ticket will include same-day access to General Admission exhibitions (excluding Special Exhibition). Please retain a copy of your ticket to facilitate your entry to the galleries.

Please see 'Other Event Arrangements' below for details.

Begin your day at M+ with an exclusive meditation experience set amid the captivating installations of A.A.Murakami: Floating World.

The fog and bubbles installations made by the artist duo A.A.Murakami create scenes of otherworldly beauty. Led by art educator and yoga and mindfulness instructor Lau Tin Ming, this meditation workshop invites you to immerse yourself in the installation—slow down, pay attention to your breaths and steps and watch the appearance and disappearance of the fog and bubbles. By focusing on how you react to the everchanging scenes you see, you bring your awareness to the present, to your body, and to the surroundings, building a connection with your inner self.

Immerse in the serenity of the museum before its opening hours, and explore the moments between realms with guided meditation and deep looking exercises to enrich your art appreciation experience at M+.
