What is M+ Academy?
M+ Academy offers three programme tracks that respond to different needs. From a 360-degree view of museum-making at the leadership level, to focused skill-building in key practice areas, and bespoke capacity-building tailored to institutional priorities, each track features a distinct pathway for learning and development.

Leaders Track
Open for Registration
A group of leaders in a room, facilitated by M+ executives and invited specialists.
A week designed around addressing urgent topics and major challenges shaping the field, as well as reflecting on strategic questions.
Rising Track
Participants choose one of four focus areas, facilitated by M+ and leading specialists: (1) Exhibition-Making and Visitor Experience; (2) Collection and Conservation Strategy; (3) Learning and Community Engagement; and (4) Fundraising, Partnerships, and Financial Sustainability.

Bespoke Track
Drawing on M+ Academy's faculty, curriculum, and infrastructure, the Bespoke Track offers targeted programmes for institutions, consortiums, and regional clusters of museums.

About the Leaders Track
Registration Now Open Until 21 August 2026 (Friday)
A five-day executive programme at M+ designed for museum directors and senior leaders who seek a panoramic view of key museum-making areas, combined with deeper inquiry into governance, strategy, urgent topics, and change management. The M+ Academy inaugural session is centred around transformation, with a strong emphasis on peer-to-peer learning and exchange.
