This series continues our commitment to subverting the expectations of what a film at a museum can be.

The uproarious responses from audiences at our previous ‘Stair in the Dark’ screenings have inspired us to go all in on comedies, a genre that has traditionally received less attention from institutions and experts of the art form. The comedies we return to time and again may reveal much more about our culture and human nature than award winners that are forgotten once the hype dies down.
