About the Programme
‘Rediscoveries’ is a recurring series that brings forgotten gems and restored classics to M+ Cinema. Throughout cinema history, a great many works have faded into obscurity over time while others see their statuses cemented in the canon. In this programme, we will spotlight films that deserve another chance on the big screen, as well as recently restored masterpieces.
Selected screenings will be accompanied by talks and events that contextualise the films with perspectives on their history, archival context, and restoration.
‘Rediscoveries’ is supported by M+ Major Partner CHANEL.
