8 Nov｜Creative Workshop: Make Your Own Recycled Instrument
Join us at M+ and use your creativity to transform discarded objects into unique instruments then play them along with members of The Recycled Orchestra in this fun workshop.
Would you have ever imagined that everyday waste could be transformed—through a spark of creativity—into unusual instruments that play melodies that move the heart?
In this workshop, M+ Educators will guide participants in reshaping and assembling different recycled materials, transforming everyday waste such as plastic bottles, tin cans, and cardboard boxes into unique instruments in simple and creative ways.
Members of The Recycled Orchestra will also demonstrate how the instruments can be used and share the special stories behind them. At the end of the workshop, participants will play together using the instruments they have made, discovering how design and creativity can help us transform waste and give discarded objects a new life.
