Meet the curatorial team behind the Special Exhibition Lee Bul: From 1998 to Now and gain insight into the practice and artistic thinking of South Korean artist Lee Bul. The tour offers the exclusive opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes stories from the M+ curators who worked on the exhibition.
As the most comprehensive survey of the artist’s career, Lee Bul: From 1998 to Now showcases Lee’s works from the past three decades across materials and narratives, such as iconic architectural installations from the Mon grand récit series, and two-dimensional works from the Perdu series. The tour will further unfold the process of how Lee turns ideas into works that criticise and reimagine various issues derived from the modern days. M+ curators will share the exhibition making process, offering insights on the relationships between Lee’s recent artworks.
