In this lecture, Laurent Le Bon, President of the Centre Pompidou, will be in conversation with M+ Museum Director Suhanya Raffel about their respective institutions’ missions and planned collaborations.
Centre Pompidou’s opening in Paris nearly 50 years ago constituted a far-reaching event. The visionary project to create a museum where art, design, moving image, music, and literature would be accessible to all under one roof was transformative for the city and an inspiration for the world.
In this presentation, Centre Pompidou President, Laurent Le Bon will trace the institution’s groundbreaking history and reveal his vision for its future programme in the soon-to-be refurbished building and beyond.
Following Le Bon’s talk, M+ Museum Director Suhanya Raffel will join him for an in-depth discussion about their respective institutions’ missions and planned collaborations.
