• Afternoon Session – ‘Creative Ageing Programme’ Research Findings Sharing Session: Open to anyone interested in the intersection of art and wellbeing. We particularly welcome the participation of staff from registered charities and non-profit organisations, academic researchers, cultural and arts practitioners, artists, as well as psychotherapy and counselling professionals.

Community and Access Taster Programmes 

Participants will join the M+ learning team for an insightful talk to learn about how M+ curates diverse learning programmes for community and access audiences, turning the museum into a platform that promotes creative practices and mental well-being. Following the talk, participants will take part in experiential activities in groups, and get the chance to exchange ideas and connect with both the M+ team and fellow peers. We have prepared four unique themed activities for participants to choose from—please select your preferred option on the registration form.

Successful registrants of the morning session will receive a wristband at the registration desk on the day of the event. With this wristband, you can participate in the activities in this session and enjoy free access to all M+ galleries after the event concludes.

‘Creative Ageing Programme: Wondrous Age’ Research Findings Sharing

As M+’s first multi-session series designed for older adults, the ‘Creative Ageing Programme: Wondrous Age’ has been dedicatedly offering diverse creative activities since 2024, exploring how art appreciation and creative practices can be gradually transformed into cultural resources that promote the health and well-being of older adults.

In this sharing session, the M+ learning team will join forces with researchers from the Centre on Behavioral Health at The University of Hong Kong to co-present the project's experiences and evaluation outcomes. Drawing upon these insights, we will together explore and envision future possibilities for integrating arts and well-being through cross-disciplinary collaborations spanning academia, social services, and the cultural and arts sectors.

This event is open for registration from 21 Aug 2026 (Fri) 16:00 to 2 Oct 2026 (Fri) via this webpage. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email within 14 days of their application.

Each school or service unit will be allocated up to three registration quotas. Each participant must submit their own registration individually. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
