Audience:

The programme is designed for older adults. We welcome the following groups serving older Adults to submit a booking request:

• Welfare service units managed or funded by the Social Welfare Department (please refer to Social Welfare Department website for the list of subsidised welfare service units)
• Elder Academies established with support from the Labour and Welfare Bureau and Elderly Commission
• Agency Members of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (for Social Service Organisations only)

Group size: 20 to 25 older adults per session, with 1-2 staff members

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Transportation subsidy:

Available on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum subsidy amount per organisation is HKD 1,500 per session. Please specify if your group needs the subsidy on the booking form.

Part 1

• Explore objects in exhibitions in different ways and discover new perspectives to see the world.

Part 2

• Understand how visual culture shapes our thoughts and connects us to ourselves, participants, and creatives.

Part 3

• Learn to leverage observation and imagination in creative practice, and uncover new possibilities through showcases and sharing with others.

The programme is divided into a summer term and a winter term. The course content is identical for both terms.

Due to limited availability, if the number of applying organisations exceeds capacity, M+ will allocate places based on factors such as the organisation’s available participation schedule, staff involvement, the anticipated benefits for the organisation and its service users, the order of application, and whether it is the organisation’s first time participating in this event.

• Selected Tuesday or Wednesday from 14:30-17:00, from August to October 2025; or

2025/2026 Winter Term

• Selected Tuesday or Wednesday from 14:30-17:00, from November 2025 to February 2026
