M+ Cinema is thrilled to be a co-presenter of the fourth edition of the ASEAN Film Festival in Hong Kong, organised by the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation. This year’s selection pays tribute to the vital role of music and sound in some of Southeast Asia’s most significant and emerging films. From restored classics to contemporary cinema, the programme highlights how song and music do far more than simply create atmosphere. These works evoke nostalgia, shape intimacy, and drive modern storytelling.
