Please note that a new vaccine pass arrangement in accordance with government requirements applies to West Kowloon Cultural District venues starting from 24 February 2022. Except for exempted persons, all visitors entering M+ are required to wear masks at all times, use the ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ mobile application to scan the venue QR code, and comply with the ‘Vaccine Pass’ arrangements as well as other requirements under Cap.599F. For further details, please see the press release from the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and M+’s FAQ page.

Our Kindergarten School Programmes provide young students with playful in-gallery learning experiences that use interactive activities to learn about museum etiquette, and take simple observation tools and tactile materials to explore the works on display in various spaces of the museum building.

Prior to the visit, M+ can arrange an onsite briefing session and location scouting for teachers according to their needs. Teachers can familiarise themselves with the museum environment and facilities. We will also provide teachers a content overview of activities to prepare for the students' arrival to the museum.

Teachers will also receive a visual toolkit and follow-up classroom activities as extensions of the museum learning experience.

Special arrangement under the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation

If activities must be conducted in smaller groups following the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation (Prohibition on Group Gathering Cap. 599G), thematic tours will be available in a self-guided format. M+ will provide learning toolkits and activity worksheets for school groups to explore the galleries after the groups attend an introductory briefing on the M+ Collections led by an M+ Educator.

Under this special arrangement, please plan to have additional teachers and parents to accompany students during their visits to ensure their safety and a smooth running of self-guided activities. We recommend a 1:3 ratio of teachers and parents to students.
